What is "Zakaat"?

"Zakaat" is, indeed, the name of permanent use of the attribute of sympathy and compassion which an affluent Muslim naturally has for his poor brother-in-faith or to say practical expression of sympathy and extension of a specific financial assistance and help by Muslims to one another is Zakaat (poor-due,poor-tax). But according to Shar'i terminology, Zakaat means to pay and make a Muslim beggar, indigent owner of a particular portion, share of one's riches, property on which Zakaat is due as fixed by Shari'ah.

Eid Mubarik Eid ul Fitr 2016

Eid an ocassion of happiness and care 2016

The concept of Eid is attached with happiness and happiness comes from success.  Success is not what we declare as success.  Success is in fact that which Allaah Ta’aalaa states is success.
The count of days of the month of Ramadaan, are completing. Laielatul Jaa’izah (first new moon of the night of Shawwaal) is coming.

Did we make Allaah Taa’aalaa Jalla Shaanuhu and the holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaiehi Wa Sallam) happy?

Are our respected parents happy with us?

Have we fulfilled our duties related to religion (Ieemaani), family (khaandaani), humanity (Insaani) and morality (Akhlaaqi)?

In this holy month of Ramadaan, the blessed guest of Allaah Kareem, did we work hard to make ourselves worth of salvation (maghfirat)?

What is happiness?
How do we get happiness?

We are lost in the crowd, we have lost our language (zabaan), tradition (tahzeeb), culture (saqaafat), values(aqdaar) and customs (riwaayaat), infact we have lost our identity. We have turned our faces away from our culture.

Do we really deserve to celebrate any kind of happiness?
But still the doors of repentance (taubah) has not closed on us, we should not lose hope in Allaah Kareem’s countless blessings.
Yes! We have to make this promise that the training (tarbiyyat), piety (taqwaa), cleanliness (tazkiyyah) and goodness (naykee) we have gained in the month of Ramadaan, we have to continue this throughout the year and also we will spend our lives in pleasing Allaah Kareem and the beloved holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaiehi Wa Sallam).

We sincerely hope that our Rabb e Kareem will not look at our sins but with HIS blessings HE  will not disappoint us, and surely will reward us.

Without a doubt, it is Eid for him whom Allaah Kareem rewards.

Allaah Kareem made us the follower of Rasool e Kareem (Sallal Laahu Alaiehi Wa Sallam), and honored us with the title of ‘the best nation’ (Khaier ul Umam). In the name of the holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaiehi Wa Sallam) may HE bestow on us the real happiness of Eid.
Before greeting you on this occasion of Eid ul Fitr, I Kaukab Noorani Okarvi (Ghufira Lahu)  most humble, nothing more than a speck of dust would like to ask for forgiveness for all my mistakes and shortcomings in my attitude.
Allaah Kareem bless you with real Eid and real happiness.
EID MUBAARAK!

Eid Mubarik Eid ul Fitr 2016

Eid ul Fitr 2016 We should not forget them our fellow Muslim families. How will they be celebrating this year?

We should not forget them our fellow Muslim families. How will they be celebrating this year? The people of Palestine Chechnya, Kashmir, Afghanistan and all those who lost their loved one due to terrorists attacks all over the world and people  who suffer throughout the year due to injustice.
These people are probably the last ones on our minds as we rush to finish our last minute gift shopping, pick out our outfit or decorate the house for the special occasion. While much of Eid is focused on how to make the holiday happy and special, especially for our children, we cannot neglect to share the pain of others on this day.

These are the people for whom Eid will mean settling into a refugee camp not decorating their homes. For thousands of them, Eid will mean trying desperately to find food for the day, not preparing a special meal for the family.
Also, don't forget to make Dua as an individual on Eid day, thanking Allaah Kareem for His blessings while praying for people suffering everywhere. Another way of sharing the pain and trying to help is by arranging to send gifts and sweets. Some relief organizations have programs in place to provide orphans, for instance, with new clothes, a gift and sweets on Eid day.

WHO ARE THE RECIPIENTS OF ZAKAAT?

Zakaat is spent on eight groups of people, as mentioned in the Qur’aan:
“As-Sadaqaat (here it means Zakaat) is only for the Fuqaraa ‘(poor), and Al Masaakeen (the needy who do not beg) and those employed to collect (the funds); and to attract the hearts of those who have been inclined (towards Islaam); and to free the captives; and for those in debt; and for Allaah’s cause and for those fighting in a battle for the cause of Islaam, and for the wayfarer (a traveler who is cut off from everything); a duty imposed by Allaah. And Allaah is All-Knower, All-Wise.” Quraan Al Kareem

If people had known the reality of Ramadaan, my (Prophet's) Ummat would wish that the whole year may be Ramadaan

Mai'raaj Un Nabee [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam]

“Glorious is He Who made his servant travel by night from Al- Masjid-ul-Haram to Al-Masjid-ul-AqSa whose environs We have blessed, so that We let him see some of Our signs. Surely, He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.” Shab e Mai'raaj the 27th night of the month of Rajab. Believers celebrate this night in connection with the journey of Mai'raaj of Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. This night is celebrated as Eid Mai'raaj u Nabi, Jashan e Mai'raaj u Nabi in Pakistan. Gatherings of Zikr are conducted, in this regard we are gathered here, May Allaah  Ta'aalaa accept our participation (Ameen). It is impossible to give details of this journey therefore I will tell you this event summarily. Keep this important point in mind that one who denies the journey of Mai'raaj i.e. from Masjid ul Haram to Masjid Aqsa is Kaafir (non-believer) because it has been clearly mentioned in Holy Qur'aan. The one who does not believe the journey from Masjid Aqsa to heavens is Fasiq (wrong doer). The one who does not believe the journey from heavens to Kaaba Kosaien is devoid of love of Ieemaan and blessings. This visit has been mentioned in the holy Qur'aan. First I will give answers to few objections and then I will discuss the journey.

Allaah Almighty says, “Glorious is He Who made his servant travel by night” LAIELLAN, means within the short part of the night. From Masjid ul Haram to Masjid Aqsa. Which Masjid Aqsa, that Masjid Aqsa whose environs have been blessed by Allaah Kareem.

Why did Allaah made prophet to visit, in order to show His signs that belong to vision. No doubt Allaah is All Hearing and All Watching. In this verse Arabic word INNAHU there is zameer which according to some scholars points towards Allaah that He made his servant visit while others say it is pointing towards Prophet Muhammad ﷺ i.e. he was made to visit. I accept both versions that Allaah is watching and hearing Prophet and Prophet watching n hearing Allah; so dispute got solved. This verse started with the word SUBHAAN, which means devoid or free from all objections and shortcomings. By starting with the word Subhaan, Allaah Ta'aalaa has shunned all the objections. Those people who say how a human being visited heavens, how he lived without oxygen, on this earth one may stay on one leg but cannot raise both legs how prophet went at such height, there are two zones in the atmosphere one is so much cold other is so much hot how he passed from there, how he completed such a long journey in a small part of the night. Allaah has answered all objections by saying that Great is that Who took prophet on that journey. We all know that Allaah can do whatever He likes, He has no limits or weakness; we cannot think of His any Weakness or limit. If Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ had made such claim that he visited  Masjid Aqsa, Heavens and beyond that in a short part of night Muslims would have accepted and ratified it. But Allaah Kareem was aware that there will be such persons who would raise objections, Allaah Ta'aalaa did not want to have objections over His beloved Prophet, [Salal Laahu Alaiehi Wa Sallam] therefore Allaah Kareem said I took him on that journey so whoever has any objection he may Object Me Allaah not prophet as whoever objects Allaah, people will come to know that he does not believe in the powers of Allaah Ta'aalaa. Therefore Allaah Kareem did not ask prophet to claim but claimed Himself that He took prophet to that journey.
