Auraad-e-Mashaaikh

Parents in Islam Jihad

The Holy Prophet Muhammad [Peace be upon Him] has observed: “Let that man be disgraced, and disgraced again and let him be disgraced even more.” The Sahaabah’s inquired: “O Prophet of Rasoolul Laah [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam]!! Who is that man?” The Prophet said:
“I refer to the man who finds his parents old in age – both of them or one of them – and yet did not earn entitlement to Paradise by rendering good service to them.”
[Muslim Shareef]

Hazrat ‘Abdul laah ibn ‘Amr [Radiyal Laahu Anhu] relates that a person came to the presence of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah Kareem he upon him) with the intention of participating in the Jihaad. The Holy Prophet enquired from him : “Are your father and mother alive?” He said “Yes, they are alive”. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Go and render good service to them. This is the Jihaad”.
[Saheeeh al-Bukhaari, Muslim]

Love your Parents Hadees Shareef

Love your parents
Love your parents and consider this act as a privilege and a source of reward in the eternal world. Hazrat Ibn ‘Abbas [Radiyal Laahu Anhu] relates that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) have said :

“The pious offspring who casts a single look of affection at his parents receives a reward from God [Allaah Kareem] equal to the reward of an accepted Hajj.” The people submitted: “O Rasoolul Laah  : If someone casts a hundred such glances of love and affection at his parents, what then?”

The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah  Kareem be upon him) observed;
“Yes, indeed, even if one does so a hundred times a day, he will get a hundred fold reward. Allaah Kareem Mercy is far greater than you imagine...[Muslim Shareef]

Parents in Islam

Offer prayers begging grace for your parents
Offer prayers begging grace for your parents, Bring to mind their fervent appeals to the Lord [Allaah Kareem] and beg His mercy for them with a zealous and sincere heart. God ordains:

“And say: My Lord! Have mercy on them both
as they did care for me when I was little.”
In other words, say: “O Creator, with mercy, devotion, affection and love, my Lord, they reared me in childhood and sacrificed their own pleasure and ease for my sake but, they, in their infirmity and helplessness of old age, are more deserving of kindness, and love than I ever was. Allaah Kareem! I can pay them no recompense. Do patronize them and show them mercy in their miserable state”.

Mothers in Islam

Preserving the affection and respect of Parents is much emphasize in Islaam, and repaying this compassion with kindness is an obligation that is directly partnered with Tauheed:
{“…and your Lord ordained that you worship only Him, and that you treat your parents with excellence…”} [Al-Israa’; 23]
And disobedience to them is directly partnered with kufr.

Verses from Qaseedah e Mai'raaj by Hazrat A'alaa Hazrat [Rahmatul Laahi Alaieh]

The light emitted by his face was distributed among the beggars with generosity.
The moon and the sun begged most eagerly for this bright charity.
The same luminous water still shining in their bright path,
Which the stars had gathered in their cups from his overflowing bath.

URS SHAREEF MUBAARAK Hazrat Maulana Shafee Okarvi [Rahmatul Laahi Alaieh]

Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Shafee Okarvi [Rahmatul Laahi Alaieh] speech excerpts
Allaah Kareem has said the hypocrites are not believers because they had no love for the Holy Prophet [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam]
Ieemaan is love for the Holy Prophet [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam] Let me conclude! He who loves the Holy Prophet will love the children, companions, wives, Shariaah, sunnah, city, grave of the Holy Prophet [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam] and everything that has a connection with him.
To love that which is connected to the Holy Prophet [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam] is to love him. If we do love the Holy Prophet then we must follow in his footsteps. There are those that follow his methodology but have no love for him. Those that imitate (itteba) him with love become Auliyaa-Allaah.
We must enhance our love for the Holy Prophet [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam], true belief (Aqeedah) with actions (Amaal) and we will become Allaah Kareem’s beloveds.
Ieemaan is love for the Holy Prophet [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam] will a true lover of Ieemaan brand salutations (Durood-o-Salaam) and Niyaaz on his name as a waste of time?

Somebody has printed and expressed this blasphemous statement in a Cape Town newspaper. A lover will never brand going to Madeenah with the intention of visiting the Holy Prophet [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam] at his grave as impermissible. A lover will proclaim that even if we proceed to that sacred ground using our eyes as feet we will not be able to fulfill our duty.
A lover will always speak about his beloved. A lover will never brand as shirk the touching of the sacred enclosure (jaali) around the sacred grave. A lover will use the sand of Madeenah as colyrium (surmaah) for his eyes.
All the opposition branding of acts of love as shirk is proof of their hearts being devoid of love. We kiss our thumbs, following the act of love for the Holy Prophet [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam] as done initially by Hazrat Aadam [Alaiehis Salaam]and re instituted by Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddeeq [Radiyal Laahu Anhu], the act that the Holy Prophet [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam] said guarantees his intercession.
They. Who oppose us; brand this act of love as bidaah. They run out of our Meelaad celebrations when we rise to send salutations, bur reappear when it is time to eat. They are shameless. Allaah Kareem save true Muslims from them! Save yourselves from being influenced by their deviant beliefs by keeping yourselves firm on the path of the Salaaf Saaliheen. If we believe them then we are accepting that all our forefathers were bidaati and Mushrik. Did not your forefathers celebrate Meelaad; Giyaarween Shareef; go to Mazaars etc. Yes they did! So this is the path of Ahle Sunnat Wa Jamaa’at and the true path. Strive to keep the Aqaaid of Ahle Sunnat Wa Jamaa’at alive.
