VISIT TO THE CEMETERY-THE NIGHT OF DELIVERANCE (Shab-e-Baraa'at)
Visit to the Cemetery
Hazrat Ummul Mu'mineen Saiyyidatunaa
Aaishah Siddeeqah
Aaishah Siddeeqah
[Radiyal Laahu 'Anhaa]
narrates
“One night, which was the 15th of Shabaan, I did not find the Beloved Prophet [Sallal Laahu Alaiehi Wa Sallam] in the house so I went in search of him. After a long search, I found him in Al-Baqee' (the cemetery of Madeenah Shareef) offering Du’a for the deceased and praying for their forgiveness”.
A special point must be made to visit the cemetery during this night and pray for the deceased buried therein, as the Most Beloved Prophet [Sallal Laahu Alaiehi Wa Sallam] is been reported as having visited the cemetery on this night and spending a long time therein, lamenting, reading and praying for the deceased.

15th of SHABAAN-Laiela tul-Baraa’at – Night of Salvation
Laiela tul-Baraa’at – Night of Salvation
The 15th night of Shabaan is a very blessed night. According to the Hadees Shareef, the name of this Mubarak night is “Nisf Sha'baan” which means 15th night of Shabaan. The reason for this special night to attain its name of Laiela tul Baraa’at, meaning the Night of Salvation, Seeking Freedom from Torment and Calamity, is that in this night the blessing and acceptance of repentance may be accomplished. Laiela tul Baraa’at in Persian, as well as in Urdu, is called Shab-e Baraa’at. It is the special night of seeking forgiveness and repenting to Almighty Allaah, remembering our past sins and sincerely settling the mind that one will never commits sins in the future. All the deeds that are against Shari’ah must be totally avoided so that our Du’a and Astaghfaar, hopefully, will be accepted.
Shab-e-Baraa'at is about to come. On this night, the deeds of all servants are presented in the Exalted Court of Allaah Kareem. For the sake of our Beloved Rasoolul Laah (Peace and Blessings of Allaah Kareem be upon Him), Allaah Kareem forgives the sins of the Muslims except that of a few. Among these are those two Muslims who bear mutual hostility for some worldly reasons. Allaah Kareem says: ‘Leave them as they are, until they mend their relations’.

Shaam-e-Karbalaa-Urdu-Maulana-Shafee-Okarvi-Rahmatul-Laahi-Alaieh
Shaam-e-Karbalaa-Urdu-Maulana-Shafee-Okarvi-Rahmatul-Laahi-Alaieh
This book is a history of the famous incident of Karbalaa on 10th Muharram, when many from the family of Holy Prophet [Sallal Laahu ‘Alaiehi Wa Sallam], were martyred by the evil forces of Yazeed, including the great Imaam Husaien, may Allaah be pleased with him. It presents the details from authentic Sunni sources and is a excellent narrative of the happenings in Karbalaa. This can be considered as the best book in Urdu on the history of the sad incident of Karbalaa, and the holy warriors of the Ahle-Baiet, may Allaah be pleased with them all. MARTYDOM SHAHAADAT & HADEES-GRACE FROM ALLAAH KAREEM-KAUKAB NOORANI OKARVI
MARTYDOM SHAHAADAT & HADEES-GRACE FROM ALLAAH KAREEM-

THE EVENTS OF KARBALAA
MARTYRDOM SHAAHADAT
All Praises are due to Allaah [Ta'aalaa], the
All-Knowing, the All-Powerful, and Choicest Durood and Salutations upon His
beloved Rasool, the Habeeb,Muhammad [Sallal Laahu
‘Alaiehi Wa Sallam], and his beloved ‘Aal.
[His family]
May the Peace and Blessings of Allaah Kareem be upon him, and upon
his family, companions, [Sahaabah] and all those who follow them until the Day
of Judgment. Aameen.
Allaah [Almighty and Glorious is He] says in the Holy Qur'aan, in
the 2nd Soorah, al-Baqra,:
Be sure We shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some
loss in goods or lives or the fruits [of your toil]...
but give glad tidings to
those who patiently persevere. Who say, when afflicted with calamity:
"To Allaah we belong, and to Him is our return"
They are those on whom blessings descend from their Lord, and
Mercy, and they are the ones that receive guidance.
Martyrdom on the path of Almighty Allaah, to give one’s life, is
an act of Grace from Allaah Amighty [an-ni’maah] and Blessing [sa’adat]
that we can determine it from a saying of the
Holy Prophet Muhammad
[Sallal Laahu ‘Alaiehi Wa Sallam],
his family and his companions) in which he says:
I swear by Almighty Allaah, I would love to be martyred in the
path of Allaah Kareem, thereafter brought back to life in this temporal world
and be martyred again. Then be brought back to life and be martyred again.
The Holy Prophet [Sallal Laahu ‘Alaiehi Wa Sallam], his family and
his companions expressed a desire to be martyred again and again.
