When a person dies, does he take anything with him?

Speech Excerpt-Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Shafee Okarvi [Rahmatul Laah Alaieh]

Gather of the  Wealth Of Faith (Ieemaan),Good Deeds (A’maal), God-Consciousness (Taqwaa) And Pious Restraint.

When a person dies, does he take anything with him? These mansions, houses, shops, factories, money, clothing cars, gold, silver is all left behind and friends and family prepare one to be buried, Eventually one is left alone in the grave.
We have forgotten Allaah [Ta'aalaa] and transgressed the laws given by the Holy Prophet [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam], due to our yearning after these temporary delights. We should attach ourselves to Him that is Permanent and Everlasting. Gather the wealth of faith (Ieemaan), good deeds (A’maal), God-consciousness (Taqwaa) and pious restraint that will help us in the grave and beyond. Accumulate the wealth of Love for Allaah Kareem and His Beloveds it will help you after death. We are running behind temporary wealth and neglecting permanent wealth. Accumulate that wealth that will help in the grave and on the Day of Resurrection   Should I expound one of these spiritual wealth? It is mentioned in the Hadees that on the Day of Reckoning the deeds (A’maal), of a Muslim will be counted. The good deeds and bad deeds will be put on the scale (Al-Meezaan); and the bad deeds will outweigh the good.
