And He has given us the honor of being the best nation ( خير الامم Khaierul Umam) by making us the patrons and trustees of Islaam and Ieemaan. Billions of Durood and Salutation be upon the last and the beloved Holy Prophet of Allaah Jalla Shaanuhu by whose grace and means we have received Islaam, Ieemaan and all blessings. Through him we have also received the acknowledgment of Allaah Jalla Shaanuhu.

Hazrat Daataa Ganj Bakhsh Hujweeri (Rahmatul Laahi ‘Alaieh) was both a Hasani and Husaieni Saiyyid.

Hazrat Daataa Ganj Bakhsh Hujweeri
 (Rahmatul Laahi ‘Alaieh)  
was both a Hasani and Husaieni Saiyyid. 

He is the renowned Soofie Shaiekh of 5th century Hijri and is well known with his title Daataa Ganj Bakhsh the Bestow-er of Treasures. He was originally from Hujweer, a town in Ghazni (now Afghanistan), and later migrated to Lahore for the propagation of Islaam following the instructions of his Spiritual Master. He is known as the Imaam of Imaams and the paradigm of the Sunnites. He was firmly grounded in works of mortification and devotion, and was a great authority on the principles of Tasawwuf.

He wrote many books …the most famous of his book his masterpiece of Tasawwuf and the first book written on this topic in Persian, Kashaf al-Mahjoob. This is the most popular book of Tasawwuf all over the world. Sultaan ul-Auliya Shaiekh Nizaam ud-Deen Auliyaa [Rahmatul Laahi Alaieh] is quoted to have said:

 “One who does not have a Murshid will find a Murshid by the blessings of reading this book.”

One of the greatest reviver [Mujaddid] of the Islaamic faith in history was the 11th century scholar Hazrat Imaam Muhammad Abu Hamid al-Ghazaali.

 Today, he is known as Hujjat al-Islaam, the Proof of Islaam, because of his efforts in intellectually fighting against some of the most dangerous ideas and philosophies that plagued the Muslim world during his time. He did not leave a stone unturned in his effort to bring back serious Islaamic scholarship in the face of heterodox threats.

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ promised that every century, a re-newer of the faith of Islaam will arise. Throughout history, great Muslim intellectuals, rulers, generals, and artists have come and managed to rejuvenate faith in the Muslim world and help Muslims deal with the problems of that age.

As a strategy of war, on the 7th Muharram, they prevented Hazrat Imaam Husaein [Radiyal Laahu ‘Anhu] and his followers from taking water from the river. Seven thousand soldiers comprising, two thousand on mounts and five thousand on foot were ordered to guard the river. The order was that not a drop must be given to the Hussaeini. As you have been informed that the Husaeini camp had women and children in it.

The Holy Prophet Muhammad
 [Sallal Laahu Alaiehi Wa Sallam] said
Hazrat Imaam Alee [Radi Allaahu anhu] reports that he held the hands of Hasan and Husaien
[Radiyal Laahu Anhuma] and said:
‘He who loves me, these two and their father and mother will be with me on my level Day of Judgment.
He also said
“Husaien is from me and I am from Husaien.
Whosoever has kept Husaien as his beloved, Allaah is his beloved.”

The sacred Holy Qur’aan has commanded the love and adoration of the close relatives of the beloved Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu ‘Alaiehi Wa Sallam) on us.  Moreover in several sayings of the beloved Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu ‘Alaiehi Wa Sallam) highly esteem attributes and qualities of the relatives of the Prophet has been specified.  It is also evident the clear detail in the Holy Qur’aan of severe wrath for the one inflicting pain to the Prophet.

According to a sacred Hadees, Paradise will be forbidden on the person who will cause pain even to a single sacred hair of the Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu ‘Alaiehi Wa Sallam). This is evident for Aboo Lahab (Abdul Uzzaa) who was a relative and connected to the paternal uncle of the Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu ‘Alaiehi Wa Sallam) but a whole chapter is revealed of his condemnation for inflicting pain and verbally abusing the Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu ‘Alaiehi Wa Sallam) and he is used as the fuel of hell.  The daughter of Aboo Lahab, Sabee’ah, became a companion by becoming a Muslim.
