3rd Rajab -Spiritual Greatness of Hazrat Uwaies Qarani [Radiyal Laah Anhu].

3rd Rajab -Spiritual Greatness of Hazrat Uwaies Qarani

[Radiyal Laah Anhu]

Many times, in the company of his followers, the Holy Prophet [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam] stated, "I can smell the beauty of my friend from the land of Yemen." This statement is in direct reference to the spiritual greatness of Hazrat Uwaies Qarani [Radiyal Laah Anhu].

Hazrat Umar [Radiyal Laahu Anhu] quotes Rasoolul Laah [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam] as saying, "Oh, Umar! From Yemen a man will arrive whose name is Uwaies. He cares for his old and frail mother. If for anything, he takes an oath in the name of Allaah [Ta’aalaa], Allaah Kareem] will fulfill his oath. If you can ask from him prayers for your own forgiveness, then you must do so."

3rd Rajab- Hazrat Uwaies Qarani the Great Aashiq e Rasool from Yemen [Radiyal Laah Anhu]

HONORING & REMEMBERING THE GREAT SAHAABI! GREAT AASHIQ E RASOOL [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam] from YEMEN.

Rajab Hazrat Uwaies Qarani [Rahmatul Laahi Alaieh]

Uwais al-Qarani Arabic: أويس بن انيس القرني‎, was an Arab, Muslim martyr, he was a

Tabaai'eeni from Yemen. He lived during the lifetime of Muhammad, [Sallal Laahu Alaieh

Wa Sallam] but never met  Prophet Muhammad [Peace be upon Him] personally.

Hazrat Uwaies Qarani [Radiyal Laah Anhu]was a very pious and noble person. He had

embraced Islaam while Rasoolul Laah [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam]was still alive. He

naturally had a very strong desire to see the Beloved Prophet but since his mother was old

and she needed his help and care, he could not visit  the Prophet. As a reward of his service

to his mother, he was given the title and status of a Sahaabi by our Beloved Nabee [Sallal

Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam] even though he could not see him personally.

The Exalted Status of Hazrat Uwaies Qarani

[Radiyal Laah Anhu]

Hazrat Uwaies Qarani [Radiyal Laah Anhu] was born in Asir region of Saudi Arabia, 594CE. His father, Aamir, was a God-fearing person. He gave Islaamic education to his son but died leaving Hazrat Owais an orphan at a young age. The family was poor and could not afford higher education for him. He devoted him to praying, fasting and service to his mother. Hazrat Uwaies Qarani [Radiyal Laah Anhu] had profound love for Islaam and its Beloved Messenger.

Hazrat Uwaies Qarani [Radiyal Laah Anhu] learned that there is a great reward in Islaam for serving parents. His mother was sick and blind. So, he devoted himself solely to the service of his mother.

During Prophet (peace be upon him)’s last days, he asked Hazrat Umar and Hazrat Alee to pass his Jubba (the blessed cloak) to  Hazrat Qaarni and ask him to pray for the forgiveness of the Muslim Ummah. This demonstrates the exalted status of Hazrat Uwaies Qarani

Love for Prophet & OwaisQarni-3rd Rajab : Hazrat Uwaies Qarani [Radiyal Laah Anhu]

rajab owais qarni book allama kokab noorani okarvi

Hazrat Uwaies Qarani [Radiyal Laah Anhu] is a story that sets an example for all the Muslims as how even without meeting the Prophet Muhammad (Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam), one may still earn Allaah Kareem’s favor and His pleasure, on account of his unflinching love for the Prophet Muhammad (Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam).

Hazrat Uwaies Qarani [Radiyal Laah Anhu] could never meet the Holy Prophet [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam] in person, but he is arguably the only person in Islaamic history who is said to have been accorded the status of Honourable Sahaabi (companion) by none other than Prophet Muhammad [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam] himself.

(To be in the status of Companion, it required the criterion of meeting the Holy Prophet while being a Believer and having faith.)
