With regard to the true path, Hazrat Nizamud deen Auliyaa‎ (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) taught the following:
“For a devotee, three things are necessary. They all begin with an 'ain' (an Arabic letter): Ishq (love), Aql (intelligence) and Ilm (knowledge).”

The Friendship of Allaah [Walaayat] is of three kinds...

.Friends of Allaah- Auliyaa Allaah and thier Grades-
And their excellence is also in the same order.

1. Fitree (Born):
Those who are Friends of Allaah Kareem (also known
as the holy masters) by birth.
2. Wahbee (Gifted):
Those who become Friends of Allaah, by someone’s
gracious glance (nazar-e-Karam) and bounty  (faiez).
3. Kasbee (Earned):
Those who become Friends of Allaah Kareem by hard
work and devotion. Meaning, through abundant worship
with sincerity and purity.

Hazrat Daataa Ganj Bakhsh Hujweeri (Rahmatul Laahi ‘Alaieh) was both a Hasani and Husaieni Saiyyid.

was both a Hasani and Husaieni Saiyyid. 

He is the renowned Soofie Shaiekh of 5th century Hijri and is well known with his title Daataa Ganj Bakhsh the Bestow-er of Treasures. He was originally from Hujweer, a town in Ghazni (now Afghanistan), and later migrated to Lahore for the propagation of Islaam following the instructions of his Spiritual Master. He is known as the Imaam of Imaams and the paradigm of the Sunnites. He was firmly grounded in works of mortification and devotion, and was a great authority on the principles of Tasawwuf.

He wrote many books …the most famous of his book his masterpiece of Tasawwuf and the first book written on this topic in Persian, Kashaf al-Mahjoob. This is the most popular book of Tasawwuf all over the world. Sultaan ul-Auliya Shaiekh Nizaam ud-Deen Auliyaa [Rahmatul Laahi Alaieh] is quoted to have said:

 “One who does not have a Murshid will find a Murshid by the blessings of reading this book.”

One of the greatest reviver [Mujaddid] of the Islaamic faith in history was the 11th century scholar Hazrat Imaam Muhammad Abu Hamid al-Ghazaali.

 Today, he is known as Hujjat al-Islaam, the Proof of Islaam, because of his efforts in intellectually fighting against some of the most dangerous ideas and philosophies that plagued the Muslim world during his time. He did not leave a stone unturned in his effort to bring back serious Islaamic scholarship in the face of heterodox threats.

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ promised that every century, a re-newer of the faith of Islaam will arise. Throughout history, great Muslim intellectuals, rulers, generals, and artists have come and managed to rejuvenate faith in the Muslim world and help Muslims deal with the problems of that age.

The First Khanqaah Of The Chishteeyah Order

Ram Deo, now Abdul laah informed Khawajah Saahib [Rahmatul Laah Alaieh] of impending danger from the enraged king and his followers.. Allaah [Ta’aalaa] had given them respect so none could disgrace them.  Nothing could swerve Khawaajah Saahib because Allaah [Ta’aalaa]’s Divine Help was with him and the Look of Blessing of the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions). He was sent by them to purify the place of polytheism (shirk) and misbelief (kufr). Abdul Laah told Khawaajah Saahib that he had inherited some land, which he owns and he gifted it to Khawaajah Saahib.
