Hazrat Abu Hurairah
[Radi Allaahu Anhu] reported that the Beloved of Allaah Kareem,the Prophet Muhammad [Sallal Laahu Alaiehi Wa Sallam] has
said,
من لم يدع قول الزور والعمل به فليس لله حاجة فى أن يدع طعامه وشرابه
“If one (who is fasting) does not give up falsehood and action according to it, Allaah Ta'aalaa has no need that he should give up his food and his drink.” [Saheeh al-Bukhari,]
