WHAT IS ISLAAM?

RELIGION OF UNITY
continued...
(1) Unity of God [ALLAAH ALMIGHTY]
Speaking of the conception of God in Islaam, ,Edward Gibbon (1737-1794) Considered the greatest British historian of his time,
says: "The Creed of Hazrat Muhammad[Peace be upon Him] is free from the suspicion of Ambiguity and the Qur’aan is a glorious testimony to the unity of God. The Prophet of Makkah rejected the worship of idols and men, of stars and planets, on the rational principle that whatever is corruptible must decay and perish, that whatever is born must die, that whatever rises must set. In the Author of the universe his rational enthusiasm confessed and adored an infinite and Eternal Being, without form or place, without issue or similitude, present to our secret thoughts, existing by the necessity of His own nature, and deriving from Himself all moral and intellectual perfections. These sublime truths …are defined with metaphysical precision by the interpreters of the Qur’aan.

Beliefs of Ahle Sunnat Wa Jamaa'at- Visting Mazaar Shareef

Urs is the day of the passing away of the noble Saints. The word Urs has been taken from the Hadees: "Sleep just like the bride." (Mishkhaat Shareef) The Angels say to the Pious in the grave, "Sleep with restfulness and comfort just like a bride."
okarvi

On the day of the passing away of a Saint or on a specific date, his admirers, disciples, followers and relatives assemble together at the grave of the Saint to obtain spiritual benefit and celebrate the anniversary with rejoice.

It is also very worthy to recite the Quraan Shareef and pass on the Sawaab (reward) to their soul and to recite Faatihah and distribute sweetmeat among those present.

Charity

Those who spend their wealth
(in Allâah's Cause) by night and day, in secret and in public, they shall have their reward with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.
Qur’aan

Being charitable and providing for the needy is a major aspect of Islaam and characteristic of the Muslim. Charity is one of the major foundations of Islaam. If it is weak, then the foundation of the faith and the Muslim community is weak. This will eventually come to touch each of our lives, one way or another.
In spite of this, there are still an unfathomable amount of starving, poor, hungry and destitute Muslims and non-Muslims in the world. At the same time, there is a high number of rich Muslims in the world who are wasting their wealth on luxuries, and even forbidden items. Remembering to give charity correctly is crucial to both the well-beings of the needy as well as our own ultimate happiness.

WHO ARE THE AHLE SUNNAT WA JAMAA'AT?

Was-Salaatu Was-Salaamu 'Alaa Rasoolihil Kareem

It is the boundless reward and favor of the True Worthy of Worship, Allaah Kareem (Jalla Shaanuhu) on us, the people of Islaam and Ieemaan, that He has blessed us with the everlasting favor and wealth of His chosen religion, Islaam. And He has given us the honor of being the best nation ( خير الامم Khaierul Umam) by making us the patrons and trustees of Islaam and Ieemaan. Billions of Durood and Salutation be upon the last and the beloved Holy Prophet of Allaah Jalla Shaanuhu by whose grace and means we have received Islaam, Ieemaan and all blessings. Through him we have also received the acknowledgment of Allaah Jalla Shaanuhu.
The Qur’aan and Ahaadees are the fundamental origin of our Ieemaan and the religion Islaam. From these we have been given the names of the Mu'min and Muslim, the companions of the holy Prophet, the family and progeny of the holy Prophet, as well as the Muslims who immediately followed and were present in the era of the companions of the holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu ‘Alaiehi Wa Sallam) (i.e. Taabi’een), and the followers of the Taabi’een (i.e. Tab’a Taabi’een) have been entitled from these names.

Our beloved Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu ‘Alaiehi Wa Sallam) has ordered us to firmly hold on to Sunnat Wa Jamaa’at and to follow and conform to (The largest group) Sawaad-e-A’zam.  Moreover the everlasting reality has been clarified with clear statements and our path to salvation has been identified by him.  The dependence of salvation is only correct beliefs. And in absolute clear consensus it is mandatory to follow and obey Sawaad-e-A’zam Ahl-e-Sunnat Wa Jamaa’at. السواد الأعظم اهل السنة والجماعة

All those people who comply to the way of the beloved Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu ‘Alaiehi Wa Sallam) and his sacred Companions (Allaah be pleased with them) are called Ahl-e-Sunnat Wa Jamaa’at.  The reason for this title is evident from its name, the followers of the Sunnat and the reason to call them Jamaa’at is that these people have united on Haqq (Truth) and are not involved in deviations. In the early era the reformers of the Ummat have endeavored to protect the Islaamic Nation from falsehood. This endeavor is called Maslak-e-Haqq Ahl-e-Sunnat Wa Jamaa’at (The True Path of Ahl-e-Sunnat Wa Jamaa’at). In practical form all the companions of the holy Prophet, the family and progeny of the Prophet, the Muslims who immediately followed and were present in their era of the companions of the holy Prophet ( تابعين Taabi’een), the followers of the Taabi’een ( تبع تابعين Tab’a Taabi'een), The compilers of Ahaadees (محدثين Muhaddiseen), the highest authorities of Islaamic Jurisprudence (مجتهدين Mujtahideen) and the accomplished saints have all remained constrained on this true path Maslak-e-Haqq Ahl-e-Sunnat Wa Jamaa’at.
Those Muslims who are by belief Maatureedi or Ash'aree and in Jurist form the followers (مقلدين  Muqallideen) of Hanafee, Shaafi’ee, Maalikee, Hanmbalee and are associated with some correct Chain of Suufi  Doctrines Qaadiree, Chishtee, Naqshbandee, Suharwardee, Shaazli, Rifaa'ee etc. are all Ahl-e-Sunnat Wa Jamaa’at (In one word  سنى “Sunni”). Speech Except- Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Shafee Okarvi [Rahmatul Laah Alaieh]

The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) states and it is recorded in Mishkaat Shareef:

Allaah (Almighty and Glorious is He) elevated the status of his servant, who had already attained salvation, in paradise…
I ask the gathering, knowing that the ulamaa know the answer, to tell me how many levels of status are there in paradise? There are a hundred levels of status in paradise and eight doors to enter paradise. There are eight depths of hell. This is mentioned in the Authentic Collection of Hadees in Bukhaari. Allaah Kareem will give each one a level according to his status. So continuing the hadees I was quoting:
Allaah (Almighty and Glorious is He) elevated the status of his servant, who had already attained salvation, in paradise. So that servant asked Allaah [Ta'aalaa]:
Ya Rabbi!
O My Sustain-er! On what account have I acquired a higher status, for You had already rewarded me for my deeds?
Almighty Allaah replies:
O My servant! A son of yours is always making dua of salvation for you, and it is due to his dua and seeking forgiveness (istighfaar) for you that we have elevated your status.

Mazar Shareef of Hazrat Imaam Abu Haneefah [Rahmatul Laah Alaieh]

Hazrat Imaam Abu Haneefah [Rahmatul Laah Alaieh] was the founder of the Sunni Hanafi school of fiqh (Islaamic jurisprudence). He is also considered a renowned Islaamic scholar and personality. He is often called "the Great Imaam" (ألإمام الأعظم, al-Imāam al-Aʿẓam).

Hazrat Imaam Abu Haneefah [Rahmatul Laah Alaieh] was born in 80A.H, in the city of Kufaa in Iraq, during the reign of the Umayyad Caliph Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan… living in the time when there were still some Sahaaba living. He saw the famous companion, Anas Bin Maalik [Radiyal Laah Anhu] and six other companions too. He learnt Ahadees from a group of Taabi’een, and spent much of his time in worship.
Hazrat Imaam Abu Haneefah [Rahmatul Laah Alaieh] is regarded as one of the greatest jurists of Arab civilization and one of the major legal philosophers of the entire human community. He attained a very high status in the various fields of sacred knowledge and significantly influenced the development of Muslim religion.
During his lifetime he was acknowledged as a jurist of the highest caliber.
Outside of his scholarly achievements Hazrat Imaam Abu Haneefah [Rahmatul Laah Alaieh] was recognized as a man of the highest personal qualities: a performer of good works, remarkable for his self-denial, humble spirit, devotion and pious awe of [God] Allaah Kareem.
His tomb, surmounted by a dome erected by admirers in 1066 is still a shrine for pilgrims who visit from all over the world in Baghdad Shareef.

Mazaar Shareef of Hazrat Junaid Baghdadi [Rahmatul Laah Alaieh]

Hazrat Junaid Baghdadi [Rahmatul Laah Alaieh] was one of the most famous of the early Soofie Saint of Islaam and is a central figure in the golden chain of many Soofie orders. He taught in Baghdad throughout his spiritual lifetime. He is the Mureed and Khalifaa of Hazrat Sarree Saqatee [Rahamatul Laah Alaieh]. He was born around the year 218 Hijri in Baghdad Shareef. He was a great Aalim and Mufti.

In his era, he was ahead of all in wisdom and eloquence. From the beginning, right up to the end of his life, he was loved by all. Everyone was pleased with him as the leader. Even though Hazrat Junaid-e- Baghdadi was such a great Wali, he was very humble. Hadrat Junaid-e-Baghdadi spent his entire life, serving the Deen of  Almighty Allaah and His Beloved Rasool.[Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam]
HIS TRUST IN ALLAAH KAREEM: Once a man presented him with five hundred Ashrafi’s (coins). Hazrat asked if he had any other wealth with the exception of the five hundred Ashrafi’s. The man replied that he did. Hazrat said, "Will you ever need any more money in the future?" He said, "Why not Huzoor. There is always a need for money." Hazrat Junaid Baghdadi [Rahmatul Laah Alaieh] said, "Then you should keep these Ashrafi’s for yourself, for you are needier than I am, since I have nothing, and still, I have no need for anything more. Even though you have wealth, you are still in need of more. I would really appreciate it if you would please take back this money, as I do not take from those who are in need themselves and I believe that My Lord alone is Ghani and the rest of the world are Faqeer."
Hazrat Junaid Baghdadi [Rahmatul Laah Alaieh] says, "The greatest Karaamat is to remain firm on the Shariat-e-Mustafaa [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam]." There is no doubt, that Hazrat Junaid Baghdadi [Rahmatul Laah Alaieh] was very firm on the Shariah, and his every action was the reflection of the Sunnah of the Prophet [Peace be upon him].
A FIRE WORSHIPER: Once a Majoosi (fire worshiper) put on a Zanaar (a so-called sacred thread worn by fire worshipers), and then disguised himself as a Muslim, by putting on the Arabian garb. He then presented himself before Hazrat Junaid Baghdadi [Rahmatul Laah Alaieh] and said, "I have come to ask the meaning of a Hadees Shareef, which says,” Fear of the sight of a true believer, for he sees with the Noor of Allaah). "Could you explain the meaning of this Hadees?" Hazrat heard his questioned and smiled. He said,
"It means that you should break your zanaar, leave kufr and accept Islaam."
When he heard Hazrat Junaid Baghdadi [Rahmatul Laah Alaieh] 's reply, he was astonished, and immediately recited the Kalima Shareef and accepted Islaam.

Hazrat Allaamah Kaukab Noorani Okarvi

WHITE & BLACK-DEOBANDI- ISM Caught in its own trap -Hazrat Allaamah Kaukab Noorani Okarvi

Dear readers! My aim is not to indulge in hurtful saying or in speaking lies. May Almighty Allaah protect me from every wrong-doing! But I speak the truth when I say that the hypocrites (Deobandi propagandists) say and do things while propagating the Deen, which are most shameful and distasteful. It is amazing that they would like wrong ideas to be explained but they would not like to call a wrong as wrong.

Dear readers! All men of wisdom, thought, intellect and consciousness know that calling bad names is after all calling bad names. Howsoever much you may try to explain them away, you cannot say that calling bad names is wishing well. We, also, say to the propagandists of Deoband that the controversy between us will continue to rage until they accept the idolatrous and disgusting writings of their stalwart ulama to be idolatrous and disgusting even according to the verdict of their own Ulamaa, and until they deny that such writings are valid and laudable.
There is a well-known anecdote. Some villagers went to a religious scholar and asked him to inform them what they should do to purify the village well in which a dog had drowned. The religious scholar told them to draw a number of buckets of water from the well, and then the water would be purified. The villagers went back and drew the prescribed buckets of water but the water continued to be as foul-smelling. Thereupon, they went back to the religious scholar and informed him of the situation. The religious scholar inquired from them if they had taken out the dead dog from the well or it was still there. They said they had not taken the dog out of the well. The religious scholar admonished them that until they took the dog out of the well, the stink would continue to be there howsoever much water they would draw. Therefore, they should first take out the dog from the well, and then take out water (and he specified the number of buckets to be taken out) and then they would see that the stink was removed.
Dear readers! Similar is the case with the Deobandi-Wahaabi propagandists. Unless they end the real reason of the controversy, unless they deny the rationality and eruditness of their erroneous and idolatrous writings, the dispute will continue to the there, howsoever much they may try to explain away things.
Along with this, you should also realize that these people are in the habit of speaking lies, giving false statements and hoodwinking people. They, perhaps, think that the world is populated only by the deaf and the blind. Let us hear about some examples of their lies and decide for yourselves how great liars these people of Deoband are.

The readers are presented with this work of great research value, scholarly discourse and of immense academic interest. This reply to booklets "From Johannesburg to Bareilly," is so brutally jaw-breaking and overwhelmingly devastating that it must surely cause a major tremor in the hearts of the disbelievers. The Urdu version of this book has taken Pakistan by storm and the publisher was compelled to go for a second printing. A must must must read!

On page 2 of part 1 of "Johannesburg to Bareilly", it is written thus: "The Ulamaa of Deoband have nothing to do with Muhammad Ibne Abdul Wahaab Najdi (Imaam of the Wahaabi faction). They have no concern with his mission, nor he is their spiritual leader, nor did they ever meet him. In fact, the Uamaa of Deoband belong to the Ahl-e-Sunnat-Wa-Jama'at and owe allegiance to the #Hanafi sect."
In this passage, it has been sought to be proved that the Ulamaa of Deoband are not #Wahaabi, and that they have got nothing to do with Muhammad Ibne Abdul Wahaab Najdi, the Imaam of the Wahaabis. This has been contradicted by the writings of the Ulamaa of #Deoband themselves, as you will subsequently see.
The famous debater of Deoband, Muhammad Manzoor Nu'maani, has in his book, "Sheikh Muhammad Bin Abdul Wahaab and the right-guided Ulamaa of #India", published 10 years ago and endorsed by Shaiekh Muhammad Zakariya Kandhalvi and Qaari Muhammad Tayyab, sought to prove that there was no ideological difference between Shaiekh Abdul Wahaab Najdi and the Ulamaa of Deoband and the Najdi Wahaabi and Deobandis were really one and the same. Here, I am not criticizing the book by Nu'maani Sahib. My aim is only to bring to my readers the lies of the author of "Johannesburg to Bareilly" so that readers may know how very fond of lies the author of "Johannesburg to Bareilly" is.

On the one hand, their Ulamaa and elders are trying their utmost to prove themselves to be Wahaabi, but the author of "#Johannesburg to #Bareilly", while stationed in South Africa, is for ever engaged in uttering lies.
Dear readers! Let us examine such other writings of the stalwart ulama of Deoband.
"This title (Wahaabi) means a person who subscribes to, or is subservient, to the creed of Ibne Abdul Wahaab". (Imdaad-ul-Fataawa), Page 233.
The Imaam of the Deobandis, Rasheed Ahmad Gangohi, says, "the followers of Muhammad Ibne Wahaab Najdi are called Wahaabi. He held excellent beliefs and his creed was Hanbali. Although he was rather of harsh temperament but he and his followers are good people." (Fataawa Rasheediyah, Page 111, Vol. 1).
Dear readers! You have just seen what the verdict of Gangohi Sahib is on Ibne Abdul Wahaab Najdi. Now see what the Ulamaa of Deoband themselves have written about Ibne Abdul Wahaab Najdi, and, then, decide for yourselves who amongst them spoke the truth and who uttered lies.
Al-Muhannad, the book of beliefs of the Ulamaa of Deoband, on page 12, contains the following question and answer:

"Question number 12:
Muhammad Ibne Abdul Wahaab held the view that shedding the blood of Musalmaans and taking away their property and defiling their honor, all these things were lawful. He also termed them idolaters. He was insolent towards the elders. What is your view of him?

And do you (think calling the Ahle Qiblah as infidels is a lawful act? Or do you think that he who does these things belongs to a legitimate sect?
Answer: In our view the same verdict applies to them as has been given by the writer of Durr-e-Mukhtaar. And Khawarij are a band of people who waged war against the Imaam because they thought him to be guilty of falsehood, that is, idolatry, which justified waging war. For this reason they take the taking of our lives and our property and making our women captives to be lawful. He further held that they were rebels. He also held that they did not Describe them as infidels because this was a matter of interpretation, though a faulty one. And Allamah Shaami, in his marginal notes on the book, has said, "Like it happened in our times when the followers of Ibne Abdul Wahaab sallying forth from Najd overwhelmed Haramain Shareefain. They described themselves as belonging to Hambali creed, but it was their belief that only they were Musalmaans and whoever was against their belief was an idolater and, so, they justified the killing of the Ahle Sunnat and the ulama of the Ahle Sunnat until Almighty Allaah deprived them of their ascendancy."
In "Fataawa Rasheediyah", it is stated that their (Najdis) beliefs are excellent, while in "Al-Muhannad" it is said that they (Najdis) believe that only they were Musalmaans and those who held beliefs contrary to theirs were polytheists, and since such people belonged to the Ahl-e-Sunnat, therefore killing them was lawful.
From this it can be derived that holding all Ahl-e-Sunnat to be polytheists and killing them was lawful and permitted in the eyes of Gangohi Sahib. He also says that the followers of (Ibne Abdul Wahaab) are good men, while all other ulama of Deoband hold them to be Kharijis and rebels. It, thus, becomes clear that Gangohi Sahib believes that Kharijis and rebels are good men.
Also consider this.
Hussein Ahmad Sahib Tandvi Madni says: "Gentlemen' Muhammad Ibne Abdul Wahaab appeared in the Najd in the 13th century A.H., and, because he harbored evil thoughts and held wrong beliefs, he waged war on the Ahl-e-Sunnat Wall Jama'at, sought to force his evil thoughts upon them and considered lawful seizing of their properties as the spoils of war, and killing them, and considered all these acts to bring blessings. He was harsh on the people of the Haramain (Makkah and Madinah) in particular and on the people of the Hijaaz in general. He used most foul language against the pious men of the earlier generations. Because of the atrocities committed by him on them, countless people had to flee the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah, and many of them were martyred by his troops. In short, he was a tyrant, a rebel and an altogether evil person." (Ash-Shahaubus Saaqib, Page 42)

Gangohi Sahib says that their beliefs are excellent and he and his followers are good men, while Husain Ahmad Sahib Tandvi Madni says that his views were evil and his beliefs were most wretched. He considered the killing of Ahle-Sunnat as an act, which brought blessings, and justified taking away of their properties as spoils of war and, as such, lawful. He put the people of the Haramain and the Hijaaz to great hardships until they were forced to flee. He was most insolent towards the pious men of the earlier generations. He was guilty of killing thousands of Musalmaans, and was tyrannical, rebellious, blood-thirsty, and sinful.
Now, if Gangohi Sahib is speaking the truth, then Husain Ahmad Sahib Tandvi Madni is speaking the lie. Only one of two can be in the right. Now, a decision about them rests on the followers of the two men....to be continued...In Shaa Allaah!
