In October 2015, Islamic Lifestyles solutions Publications, Durban, South Africa published the English translation of the respected Khateeb e A’zam Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Shafee Okarvi (Rahmatul Laahi ‘Alaieh)’s memorable book “Shaam e Karbalaa”.This book of 320 pages cannot be called a complete translation,because poetic verses are not included in it, anyhow because of Islamic Lifestyles solutions’s this effort became public. Martyrdom is a great reward from Allaah [Subhaanuhu Wa Ta'aalaa], for which great personalities entertain a desire to attain. Hazrat Saiyyidinaa Imaam Hasan and Hazrat Saiyyidinaa Imaam Husaien [Radiyal laahu Anhumaa]received this perfect martyrdom from the court of the Holy Prophet [Sallal Laahu ‘Alaiehi Wa Sallam]. The personalities of Hazrat Imaam Hasan and Hazrat Imaam Husaien are the ‘Location of the manifestation of the perfection of the Chosen One’ [Mazhar e Kamaal e Mustafaa]. Allaah Kareem's Test- Martydom-"To Allaah we belong, and to Him is our return"

Allaah [Almighty and Glorious is He] says in the Holy Qur'aan, in the 2nd Soorah, al-Baqarah, Verse 155 to 157:

Be sure We shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits [of your toil], but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere. Who say, when afflicted with calamity:

"To Allaah we belong, and to Him is our return"

They are those on whom blessings descend from their Lord, and Mercy, and they are the ones that receive guidance.

Martyrdom on the path of Almighty Allaah, to give one’s life, is an act of Grace from Allaah Amighty [an-ni’maah] and Blessing [sa’adat] that we can determine it from a saying of the Holy Prophet

[Sallal Laahu ‘Alaiehi Wa Sallam], his family and his companions) in which he says:

I swear by Almighty Allaah, I would love to be martyred in the path of Allaah Kareem, thereafter brought back to life in this temporal world and be martyred again. Then be brought back to life and be martyred again.
