Honoring & Remembering the Hazrat Salaah ud din Aiyyubi [Radiyal Laahu Anhu]
Jerusalem has been always important to the Muslims because it contained the Dome of Rock, where our Beloved Prophet Muhammad [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam] ascended to heaven, and the Masjid al Aqsa.
By 1176 Hazrat Salaah ud din Aiyyuubi [Radiyal Laahu Anhu] had become a powerful Muslim ruler. Even though the Crusaders had signed a peace treaty, Reynald (a Christian prince) attacked a pilgrim caravan on its way to Hajj. He even planned to attack Makkah and Madinah to destroy the grave of Prophet Muhammad [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam]
Hazrat Salaah ud din Aiyyuubi [Radiyal Laahu Anhu] made the call for Jihaad and united all Muslim states to defend Islaam. The Crusaders gathered their armies and confronted the Sultaan at a place called Hattin.
Hazrat Salaah ud din Aiyyuubi [Radiyal Laahu Anhu] was very courageous. He took back Jerusalem in 1187 after 88 years of occupation; this would forever be remembered as his greatest achievement and it made him a Great Hero of Islaam. He will be remembered as the Rectifier of Faith because he brought faith back to the Holy Land.
The Significance of Masjid Al-Aqsa in Palestine
MASJID AL-AQSA
Do you know the significance of Masjid Al-Aqsa?
» The first Qiblaah of the Muslims.
» The station of Al-Isra' and Al-Mi'raj.
» The second house of Allah built on earth.
» The place where hundreds of Messengers of Allah (Ala Nabiyyina wa Alayim as-Salat wa as-Salam) are buried.
» The place where many companions (Radi Allahu Anhum Ajma'een) are buried.
» A place where miracles were shown by Allah's will.
» A place which Allah Himself calls a "blessed place".
» Referred to directly and indirectly, 70 times in the Holy Quran.
» The place where Angels have descended with Allah's message.
» The only place on earth where all the Messengers of Allah prayed at the same time led by the beloved Prophet Muhammad (Ala Nabiyyina wa Alayim as-Salat wa as-Salam).
» The only Masjid mentioned by name in the Holy Quran apart from the Holy Ka'bah.

The Changing Of Qiblaah
Baiet Ul laah-Qiblaah
Masjid Al Qiblaatayn
Assalam o Alaiekum!
I
hope you will be enjoying the program on the places that were visited
by Our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in the sacred month of Ramadaan. The verses
regarding the Ka’aba and Qiblaa need the attention. We all know that
when Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was in the Makkah Muslim used to pray by turning
their faces towards Baiet ul Muqaddas (Masjid Al Aqsa - Palestine).
Because till then Baiet ul Muqadas was first Qiblaa. But Prophet
Muhammad ﷺ had a different wish in his heart. Even 16 to 17 months after
migration to Madinah Muslim used to pray by turning their faces towards
Qiblaa Awwal. Our Beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ was offering prayer
of Zuhr (noon) in a mosque in the village of Abu Salaam; Prophet
Muhammad ﷺ had a wish that Ka’aba Ibraheemi (Khana Ka’aba) is fixed as
our (Muslims) Qiblaa. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ looks towards the heaven during
the prayer. Consider the Ayaat no 144,
“We have been seeing you
turning your face to the heavens. So, We will certainly assign to you a
Qiblaa that you would like. Now, turn your face in the direction of the
Sacred Mosque (Al-Masjid-ul-Haram), and (O Muslims), wherever you are,
turn your faces in its direction. Even those who have been given the
Book know well that it is the truth from their Lord, and Allaah is not
unaware of what they do.”
Two Raka’at of Zuhr Prayer has been offered
and two are remaining, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ turned his face towards
Ka’aba Ibraheemi i.e. Khana Ka’aba, so offered remaining two Raka’at
were offered by turning faces towards Khana e Kaaba.
The mosque
in which this incident occurred is known as Masjid Al Qiblaatayn meaning
Masjid with two Qiblaa’s. Thus our prophet became Imaam ul Qiblatayn
i.e. Imaam of both Qiblaa’s. Now the Allaah Almighty orders are Muslims
to turn their face in the direction of Khana e Ka’aba.
I would like to clarify one more thing, that is the one sentence of verse No 143 of Soorah Al-Baqaraah,
“And
We did not prescribe the Qiblaa which you used to observe except to
know the one who follows the Messenger as distinct from the one who
turns on his heels.”
Keep this in mind that we cannot follow
Islaam leaving the trails of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the one who abandons
Sunnah of Prophet ﷺ cannot be loved by Allaah [Ta’aalaa]. Wherever the
feet of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ touch they become sacred places.
Consider
verse no 149-150 of Soorah Al-Baqaraah, “149. From wherever you set
out, turn your face in the direction of the Sacred Mosque
(Al-Masjid-ul-Haram). That, indeed, is the truth from your Lord, and
Allaah is not unaware of what you do.”
“And from wherever you
set out, turn your face in the direction of the Sacred Mosque
(Al-Masjid-ul-Haram), and (O Muslims), wherever you are, turn your faces
in its direction, so that people should have no argument against you,
except for those among them who are unjust, - do not fear them, but fear
Me (Allaah) -, and so that I should perfect My blessings upon you, and
that you may take the right path.”
Ka’aba has been made center
of the Muslims, that whenever any Muslim in any part of the world prays
he turns his face towards Ka’aba. This is the Ka’aba around which my
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ did Tuwwaaf, [circling] this is the Ka’aba with in
which my Prophet Muhammad ﷺ went, visits of Prophet ﷺ made Ka’aba more
sacred for us.
Just imagine what would be the scene when
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was praying turning his face towards Khana e Ka’aba.
May Allaah Kareem bless us to offer prayers five time regularly and love
Khana e Ka’aba. This is the House of Allaah [Ta’aalaa], Allaah Almighty
does not need any place or house to live but it is for us (human
beings) so that we can offer prayers by turning our faces towards it…

GLORIUS IS HE -THE DIVINE VISION -Shab-e-Mairaj -
GLORIUS IS HE -THE DIVINE VISION Shab-e-Mairaj -
“Glorious
is He Who made his servant travel by night from Al- Masjid-ul-Haram to
Al-Masjid-ul-Aqsa whose environs We have blessed, so that We let him see
some of Our signs.
Surely, He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.” Shab e Mai'raaj the 27th night of the month of Rajab.
Believers
celebrate this night in connection with the journey of Mai'raaj of Holy
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. This night is celebrated as Eid Mai'raaj u Nabee,
Jashn e Mai'raaj un Nabee in Pakistan. Gatherings of Zikr are conducted,
in this regard we are gathered here, and may Allaah Kareem accept our
participation (Aameen). It is impossible to give details of this journey
therefore I will tell you this event summarily. Keep this important
point in mind that one who denies the journey of Mai'raaj from Masjid al
Haram to Masjid al Aqsa is Kaafir (non-believer) because it has been
clearly mentioned in Holy Quraan.
The one who does not believe the journey from Masjid Al Aqsa to heavens is Faasiq (wrong doer). The one who does not believe the journey from heavens to Kabaah Kausaien is devoid of love of Ieemaan and blessings. This visit has been mentioned in the Holy Quraan. First I will give answers to few objections and then I will discuss the journey.
Allaah Almighty says,
“Glorious is He Who made his servant travel by night” LAIELLAN, means within the short part of the night. From Masjid al Haram to Masjid al Aqsa.
Which Masjid Aqsa, that Masjid Aqsa whose environs have been blessed by Allaah Kareem.
Why did Allaah [Ta’aalaa] made Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to visit, in order to show His signs that belong to vision.
No doubt Allaah Kareem is All Hearing and All Watching. In this verse Arabic word INNAHUU there is zameer which according to some scholars points towards Allaah that
He made his servant visit while others say it is pointing towards Prophet Muhammad ﷺ i.e. he was made to visit.
I accept both versions that Allaah Almighty is watching and hearing the Prophet and Prophet Muhammad [Peace be upon Him] seeing and hearing Allaah Kareem; so dispute got solved.
This verse started with the word SUBHAAN, which means devoid or free from all objections and shortcomings. By starting with the word “Subhaan”, Allaah Kareem has shunned all the objections.
Those people who say how a human being visited heavens, how he lived without oxygen, on this earth one may stay on one leg but cannot raise both legs how the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ went at such height, there are two zones in the atmosphere one is so much cold other is so much hot how he passed from there, how he completed such a long journey in a small part of the night.
Allaah Kareem has answered all objections by saying that Great is “HE” Who took Prophet on that journey.
We all know that Allaah [Ta’aalaa] can do whatever He likes, He has no limits or weakness; we cannot even think of any Weakness or limit for HIM.[Jalla Shaanuhu]
If Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ had made such claim that he visited Masjid al Aqsa, Heavens and beyond that in a short part of night all Muslims would have accepted and approved it.
But Allaah Kareem was aware that there will be such persons who would raise objections, Allaah [Jalla Shaanuhu] did not want to have objections over His beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ therefore Allaah Almighty said I took him on that journey so whoever has any objection he may Object to Me Allaah [Ta’aalaa] not Prophet ﷺ as whoever objects Allaah Kareem, people will come to know that he does not believe in the powers of Allaah [Ta’aalaa].
Therefore Allaah Kareem did not ask Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to claim but claimed Himself that He took prophet to that journey [Laielatul Mai'raaj].
I have said something that is enough for the believers, in spite of all this there are people who measure belief with rationale or common sense; they do not have answers regarding their own existence.
I would not like to waste time in their fruitless discussion and objections. I would just like to ask, if one believes in Qur’aan and Allaah Ta’aalaa, is there any space for objections yet? No.
However, few people say that this was spiritual Mai’raaj not of the physical body or this event happened in the dream. Those people who say that it happened in the dream are worse than Abu Jahal.
If this had been dream, Abu Jahal would never had objected because he himself had dreams as a human being. He also objected that how did Prophet Muhammad ﷺ travel such a long distance with his physical body? Those who say Mai’raaj was a dream they live in dreams because my Prophet Muhammad ﷺ had Mai’raaj with physical body while he was awake.
