THE QURAAN ON FASTING
The first step for a Muslim to realize is the fact that fasting the month of Ramadaan is obligatory and that Allaah Almighty has prescribed it for us in His Mubaraak Holy Book:
Allaah [Subhanhu Wa Ta'alaa] has told us about Fasting in Ramadaan on several places in the Qur’aan Al Hakeem.
"Fasting for a fixed number of days is prescribed for you, but if any of you is ill or on a journey, the same number (should be made up) from other days. And as for those who can fast with difficulty, (an old man, etc.), they have (a choice either to fast or) to feed a poor person (for every day). But whoever does good of his own accord, it is better for him. And that you fast, it is better for you if only you know."
Allaah intends for you ease, and He does not want to make things difficult for you. (He wants that you) must complete the same number (of days), and that you must magnify Allaah for having guided you so that you may be grateful to Him"

#Firstcreation-Nabuwwat Ka Safar- The Journey of Prophet hood- The First Creation- The Noor of Muhammad [Sallal Laahu Alaiehi Wa Sallam]

Hazrat
Jaabir bin Abdul laah Ansari [Radiyal Laahu Anhu] reports: I asked the Beloved
Prophet Muhammad [Sallal Laahu Alaiehi Wa Sallam]Tell me, what was that which
the Almighty Allaah created before anything else?” The Holy Prophet [Sallal
Laahu Alaiehi Wa Sallam] replied:
“O
Jaabir, verily Allaah first created my Noor (Light) from His Noor before He
created anything else. This Noor stayed in obedience according to the Will of
Allaah [Ta’aalaa]. At that time, there was neither the Lawh (Divine Tablet) nor
the Qalam (Pen), neither heaven nor hell, and neither any angel, earth, skies,
sun, moon, jinn or human beings. When Allaah wished to create something, He
divided that Noor into four parts. From one part He created the Qalam (Pen),
from the second, the Lawh (Divine Tablet) and from the third, He made the Arsh
(Throne)....excerpt translation Nabuwwat Ka Safar- The First Creation- Allamah Kaukab Noorani Okarvi

The Changing Of Qiblaah
Baiet Ul laah-Qiblaah
Masjid Al Qiblaatayn
Assalam o Alaiekum!
I
hope you will be enjoying the program on the places that were visited
by Our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in the sacred month of Ramadaan. The verses
regarding the Ka’aba and Qiblaa need the attention. We all know that
when Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was in the Makkah Muslim used to pray by turning
their faces towards Baiet ul Muqaddas (Masjid Al Aqsa - Palestine).
Because till then Baiet ul Muqadas was first Qiblaa. But Prophet
Muhammad ﷺ had a different wish in his heart. Even 16 to 17 months after
migration to Madinah Muslim used to pray by turning their faces towards
Qiblaa Awwal. Our Beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ was offering prayer
of Zuhr (noon) in a mosque in the village of Abu Salaam; Prophet
Muhammad ﷺ had a wish that Ka’aba Ibraheemi (Khana Ka’aba) is fixed as
our (Muslims) Qiblaa. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ looks towards the heaven during
the prayer. Consider the Ayaat no 144,
“We have been seeing you
turning your face to the heavens. So, We will certainly assign to you a
Qiblaa that you would like. Now, turn your face in the direction of the
Sacred Mosque (Al-Masjid-ul-Haram), and (O Muslims), wherever you are,
turn your faces in its direction. Even those who have been given the
Book know well that it is the truth from their Lord, and Allaah is not
unaware of what they do.”
Two Raka’at of Zuhr Prayer has been offered
and two are remaining, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ turned his face towards
Ka’aba Ibraheemi i.e. Khana Ka’aba, so offered remaining two Raka’at
were offered by turning faces towards Khana e Kaaba.
The mosque
in which this incident occurred is known as Masjid Al Qiblaatayn meaning
Masjid with two Qiblaa’s. Thus our prophet became Imaam ul Qiblatayn
i.e. Imaam of both Qiblaa’s. Now the Allaah Almighty orders are Muslims
to turn their face in the direction of Khana e Ka’aba.
I would like to clarify one more thing, that is the one sentence of verse No 143 of Soorah Al-Baqaraah,
“And
We did not prescribe the Qiblaa which you used to observe except to
know the one who follows the Messenger as distinct from the one who
turns on his heels.”
Keep this in mind that we cannot follow
Islaam leaving the trails of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the one who abandons
Sunnah of Prophet ﷺ cannot be loved by Allaah [Ta’aalaa]. Wherever the
feet of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ touch they become sacred places.
Consider
verse no 149-150 of Soorah Al-Baqaraah, “149. From wherever you set
out, turn your face in the direction of the Sacred Mosque
(Al-Masjid-ul-Haram). That, indeed, is the truth from your Lord, and
Allaah is not unaware of what you do.”
“And from wherever you
set out, turn your face in the direction of the Sacred Mosque
(Al-Masjid-ul-Haram), and (O Muslims), wherever you are, turn your faces
in its direction, so that people should have no argument against you,
except for those among them who are unjust, - do not fear them, but fear
Me (Allaah) -, and so that I should perfect My blessings upon you, and
that you may take the right path.”
Ka’aba has been made center
of the Muslims, that whenever any Muslim in any part of the world prays
he turns his face towards Ka’aba. This is the Ka’aba around which my
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ did Tuwwaaf, [circling] this is the Ka’aba with in
which my Prophet Muhammad ﷺ went, visits of Prophet ﷺ made Ka’aba more
sacred for us.
Just imagine what would be the scene when
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was praying turning his face towards Khana e Ka’aba.
May Allaah Kareem bless us to offer prayers five time regularly and love
Khana e Ka’aba. This is the House of Allaah [Ta’aalaa], Allaah Almighty
does not need any place or house to live but it is for us (human
beings) so that we can offer prayers by turning our faces towards it…

Maqaam e Ibraheem علیہ اسلام– Station of Prophet Ibraheem [Alaiehis Salaam]-Maulana Kaukab Noorani Okarvi
Maqaam e Ibraheem علیہ اسلام– Station of Prophet Ibraheem [Alaiehis Salaam]

#MaqameIbrahim |
Assalam o Alaiekum!
In today’s program we will discuss Maqaam e Ibraheem. Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is such a personality that wherever his
feet touched these places became holy and sacred. Respecting these places is
obligatory and they are the places of prostration for believers. In the holy
Qur’aan Allaah Almighty says, “When Ibraheem was raising up the foundations of
the House, along with Ismaeel (Ishmael) [Alaiehis Salaam] supplicating: “Our
Lord accept (this service) from us! Indeed, You and You alone -are the All-Hearing,
the All-Knowing!” [Soorah Al-Baqraah – 127].
This verse shows
that this is the place which has been mentioned by Allaah regarding Hazrat
Ibraheem [Alaiehis Salaam] and Hazrat Ismaeel [Alaiehis Salaam].MAQAAM means
the place to stand. Hazrat Ibraheem [Alaiehis Salaam] was constructing Kaabaa,
Hazrat Ismaeal [Alaiehis Salaam] was helping his father by bringing stones.
When the walls reached a certain height it became difficult to fix stones above
Ibraheem [Alaiehis Salaam] hands, therefore he asked Hazrat Ismaeel [Alaiehis
Salaam] to bring such a stone on which he may stand in order to construct the
wall. Hazrat Ismaeel [Alaiehis Salaam] brought a stone, Hazrat Ibraheem [Alaiehis
Salaam] stood over it; by the order of Allaah Kareem that hard stone became as softer
as flower under his feet, so his feet got into the stone until his ankles. When
Hazrat Ibraheem [Alaiehis Salaam] wanted to climb up, that stone raised up and
vice versa. In the Holy Qur’aan Soorah Al-Imraan verse No 97 Allaah Almighty
says,
“In it there are
clear signs: The Station of Ibraheem! Whoever enters it is secure”
I will return back
to Soorah Al-Baqraah verse No 125,
“Make from the
Station of Ibraheem a place of prayer.”
No doubt prostration
will be only for Allaah Ta’aalaa, but Allaah loves that place for prostration
which had been touched by the feet of His beloved. The foot of Hazrat Ibraheem [Alaiehis
Salaam] got imprinted into the stone and despite passage of hundreds of years
that sign is still preserved. When Prophet Muhammad ﷺ entered Baiet Ul laah after conquering
Makkah, he specified the place of the stone so Hazrat Umar e Farooq [ Radiyal
Laahu Anhu]fixed this stone on its current place. Just imagine that how many
times Prophet Muhammad ﷺ would have visited that place and placed his sacred feet over
that place and prostrated here. When a loving believer visits that place and he
imagines the link, the feet of Prophet Ibraheem [Alaiehis Salaam] and then the
feet of Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ. A believer would visit these places with great love and
respect. His soul feels tranquility and he thanks Allaah Kareem. Now a days
this stone has been placed in silver bowl with a crystal glass from which
pilgrims may see it. This is the place where Imaam stands during the prayer
because Allaah has ordered in the holy Qur’aan to make this a prostration
place. May Allaah Ta’aalaa bless us to make this a place of our prostration by
visiting that place…read more
