Prophetic traditions and food:Honey

('asal)--Allaah Kareem has said: "There comes forth, from within [the bee], a beverage of many colors in which there is a healing for you." Mixed with hot water, and taken in several small doses, honey is considered the best remedy for  stomach problems.
“Honey is a remedy for every illness and the Qur’aan is a remedy for all illness of the mind, therefore I recommend to you remedies, the Qur’aan and honey” [Bukhaari]

Within me resounds the melody of Kalimaa,
The melody that love has taught me to hear.
Why don’t you put away your books,
And forget that you have learnt from them –
For within the Kalimaa you will find The fourteen inner realms.
Scholars sharpen reeds into pens,
But they are not capable of writing the true Kalimaa.
This Kalimaa has rid me of all afflictions Of the body and mind –
Only a Master could have taught it to me, O Baahuu.- -

My Master(Spiritual Guide) has planted in my heart,
The jasmine of Allaah [Ta'aalaa’s] Name.
Both my denial that the Creation is real And my embracing of God,
the only reality, Have nourished the seedling down to its core.
When the buds of mystery unfolded Into the blossoms of revelation,
My entire being was filled with [Allaah Kareem] God’s Fragrance.
May the perfect Master Who planted this jasmine in my heart,
Be ever blessed, O Baahuu!

Hazrat Sultaan Baahuu (Rahmatul Laahi ‘Alaieh) (1630 - 1691 AD) belonged to the Qaadiri Order of Soofie  and is known by the title of Sultaan-ul-Arifeen (king of the Gnostics). He is acknowledged as one of the most prominent Soofie poets of the Indo-Pak subcontinent.
Sultaan Baahuu like many other soofie saints of the South Asia, was  a prolific writer, with more than 100 books attributed to him. However, as the majority of his books deal with specialized subjects related to Islaam, it is his Punjabi poetry that has generated popular appeal and made him a household name in the region.....

DEOBAND TO BAREILLY-QUOTES

Why is the thumb print of one man different from the thumbprint of another man’s? This is only a small matter. This universe itself is the most wondrous thing. This earth and skies, this #moon and stars, this ocean and rivers, these planets, this mystery of morning and evening, this changing of seasons, this rainbow, this milky way of colors, this flood of colors and light. What are they, why are they, and for whom are they made? ………

#Life and death and this system of the universe are beyond man’s intellectual grasp. Almighty Allaah has, of course endowed man with intellect but not to an unlimited or uncountable extent. Those who have crossed their limits they keep getting more entangled. The eyes can see only as much as it is in its control. The mind can think only as much as it can bear beyond that the veins would burst.
Intellect is not the destination. Had it been so then after passing of thousands of generation the man would have reached some destination. Intellect can only be the way it can never be the destination. As the poet has said,
“Shaayed ‘Usay ‘lshq Bhee Na Samjhe
Jis Karb Mayn ‘Aql Mubtilaa Hai”
(Perhaps even love cannot understand the anguish which intellect undergoes.)

Masjid Abu Bakr Siddeeq [Radiyal Laahu Anhu]

Masjid Abu Bakr Siddeeq [Radiyal Laahu Anhu] is located at the corner of Masjid e Nabawi Shareef in Madinah –Arabia. It is located at the west southern side of the Honorable Prophet’s Mosque, and it is about (1000) meters from its current fence.

This was Home of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddeeq [Radiyal Laahu Anhu] which was later converted to a Masjid by Authorities.

It is narrated that the Prophet Muhammad [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam] prayed Eid prayer at this site, and Abu Bakr Siddeeq [Radiyal Laahu Anhu] after Him during His Caliphate, so it was attributed to Him.

It was built-up for the first time in the Princedom of Omar Bin Abdul Aziz in Al Madeenah (86-91 A.H./705-709 A.D.), and it was renovated by the Ottoman Sultaan Mehmood II in 1254 A.H./1838 A.D.

It is square shaped and the length of its side is nine meters. It was built by black basalt stones, and was painted white from inside with a dome above it whose height is (12) m. Within the walled area is a small rectangular courtyard. The minaret is an austere cylindrical shape also capped with a green metal cone..

Cave Saur/Thaur/Thawr
Believers love all the things and place that has any relation with Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ. All these places are sacred; a loving Mumin would like to sacrifice his life and wealth to visit these places. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ migrated to Madeenah because inhabitants of Makkah became his enemy after pronouncement of prophet hood. Chiefs of the tribes met in the Dar-u-Nadwah and decided to slay Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. All the tribes provided the swordsmen and these swordsmen besieged the house of Prophet with naked swords in their hands with their bad intention; in the house, Prophet of Allaah ﷺ and Hazrat Alee [Radiyal Laah Anhu] were present. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ had the deposits / trusts (Amaanat) of people of Makkah which he handed over to Hazrat Alee [Radiyal Laahu Anhu]and asked him to sleep on the bed, hand over the deposits to their respective owners and then come to Madeenah as Prophet was leaving for Madeenah.

Just imagine swordsmen are standing out with naked swords in their hands; Hazrat Ale [Radiyal Laahu Anhu] is being asked to sleep on Prophet’s [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam’s] bed, the belief of Hazrat Alee was so strong and he knew that Prophet is asking him to sleep so there was no need to be afraid. Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ left the house reciting the Soorah Yaaseen, reached the house of Hazrat Abu Bakr [Radiyal Laahu Anhu] they have to go to the Madeenah because it was ordered by Allaah [Ta’aalaa], Prophet Muhammad ﷺ changed the way and climbed up the highest peak of the Makkah, Turks and others have made a stairway for climbing that cliff but imagine at that time, it has a cave upon its peak. This cliff is known as Saur/Thaur, Saur was the son of Abdul Mannaf due to which it is known as mountain of Saur. Hazrat Abu Bakr [Radiyal Laahu Anhu] had swept the cave and closed all the holes in it, one hole was left open, Hazrat Abu Bakr [Radiyal Laahu Anhu] placed his heel over that hole, and offered Prophet to place head in his lap and take rest. Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddeeq had climbed up the mountain by carrying Prophet [Peace be upon Him] over his back. Prophet accepted his offer because Prophet knew that what reward Hazrat Abu Bakr [Radiyal Laahu Anhu] would get from Allaah Kareem] for his services
