It is also stated in the hadees that Soorah Yaseen must be recited in the graveyard and the sum total of reward that is given to the dead will be recorded for the reciter. A Sahaaba asked the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) that, ‘before my parents died we used to perform good deeds together, is there any virtuous act that I can perform for them, now that they have died? The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) told him that when he reads his compulsory (farz) prayer he should perform 2 or 4 cycles of voluntary (nafil) prayer and dedicate the reward for his deceased parents. The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) also told him to keep voluntary fasts and dedicate the reward for his deceased parents. The Holy Prophet said that to perform voluntary (nafil) prayer and to keep voluntary (nafil) fasts and dedicate the reward for his deceased parents is to perform good deeds for them. Holy Qur’aan, tasbih, takbir, zikr can be read for the deceased. In a hadees it says that a 100 000 recitations of the Testification of Faith (Kalimah) if read and dedicated to a deceased Muslim, then even if he is being punished for sins or is in hell, then Allaah Kareem will grant him forgiveness.

Maqaam e Ibraheem علیہ اسلام– Station of Prophet Ibraheem [Alaiehis Salaam]

Assalam o Alaiekum! In today’s program we will discuss Maqaam e Ibraheem. Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is such a personality that wherever his feet touched these places became holy and sacred. Respecting these places is obligatory and they are the places of prostration for believers. In the holy Qur’aan Allaah Almighty says, “When Ibraheem was raising up the foundations of the House, along with Ismaeel (Ishmael) [Alaiehis Salaam] supplicating: “Our Lord accept (this service) from us! Indeed, You and You alone -are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing!” [Soorah Al-Baqraah – 127].

This verse shows that this is the place which has been mentioned by Allaah regarding Hazrat Ibraheem [Alaiehis Salaam] and Hazrat Ismaeel [Alaiehis Salaam].MAQAAM means the place to stand. Hazrat Ibraheem [Alaiehis Salaam] was constructing Kaabaa, Hazrat Ismaeal [Alaiehis Salaam] was helping his father by bringing stones. When the walls reached a certain height it became difficult to fix stones above Ibraheem [Alaiehis Salaam] hands, therefore he asked Hazrat Ismaeel [Alaiehis Salaam] to bring such a stone on which he may stand in order to construct the wall. Hazrat Ismaeel [Alaiehis Salaam] brought a stone, Hazrat Ibraheem [Alaiehis Salaam] stood over it; by the order of Allaah Kareem that hard stone became as softer as flower under his feet, so his feet got into the stone until his ankles. When Hazrat Ibraheem [Alaiehis Salaam] wanted to climb up, that stone raised up and vice versa. In the Holy Qur’aan Soorah Al-Imraan verse No 97 Allaah Almighty says,

“In it there are clear signs: The Station of Ibraheem! Whoever enters it is secure”

I will return back to Soorah Al-Baqraah verse No 125,

“Make from the Station of Ibraheem a place of prayer.”

No doubt prostration will be only for Allaah Ta’aalaa, but Allaah loves that place for prostration which had been touched by the feet of His beloved. The foot of Hazrat Ibraheem [Alaiehis Salaam] got imprinted into the stone and despite passage of hundreds of years that sign is still preserved. When Prophet Muhammad ﷺ entered Baiet Ul laah after conquering Makkah, he specified the place of the stone so Hazrat Umar e Farooq [ Radiyal Laahu Anhu]fixed this stone on its current place. Just imagine that how many times Prophet Muhammad ﷺ would have visited that place and placed his sacred feet over that place and prostrated here. When a loving believer visits that place and he imagines the link, the feet of Prophet Ibraheem [Alaiehis Salaam] and then the feet of Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ. A believer would visit these places with great love and respect. His soul feels tranquility and he thanks Allaah Kareem. Now a days this stone has been placed in silver bowl with a crystal glass from which pilgrims may see it. This is the place where Imaam stands during the prayer because Allaah has ordered in the holy Qur’aan to make this a prostration place. خطیب اعظم مولانا محمد شفیع اوکاڑوی کی ذات کثیر الصفات اور ان کی خدمات کثیر الجہات تھیں ۔ ۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ دو دوزہ سالانہ عرس مبارک میں علما و خطباء نے والہانہ خراج عقیدت پیش کیا ۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ کراچی  (۔   ) جماعتِ اھلِ سنّت کے بانی خطیبِ اعظم عاشق رسول حضرت مولانا محمد شفیع اوکاڑوی کا32 واں سالانہ مرکزی دو روزہ عرس مبارک مولانا اوکاڑوی اکادمی ( العالمی ) اور گل زار حبیب ٹرسٹ کے زیر اہتمام جامع مسجد گُل زار حبیب، گلستانِ اوکاڑوی ، میں عقیدت و احترام کے ساتھ اختتام پذیر ھوا- عرس مبارک کی دو روزہ تقریبات میں ملک اور بیرون ملک سے علما و مشائخ اور عقیدت مند حضرات و خواتین کی بڑی تعداد نے شرکت کی اور حضرت خطیبِ اعظم سے والہانہ عقیدت و محبت کا اظہار کیا- متعدد حلقوں اور سنّی تنظیموں کی طرف سے مرقد مبارک پر پھولوں کی چادریں چڑھائی گئیں اور گل پاشی کی گئی۔ علامہ کوکب نورانی اوکاڑوی کی تلقین کے مطابق کپڑے کی چادریں زیادہ چڑھانے کی بجائے ایصالِ ثواب کے لیے مستحق افراد میں پوشاکیں تقسیم کی گئیں ۔ عرس مبارک کے اجتماع سے مفتی اعظم افریقا محمد اکبر ھزاروی ،مولانا سید عظمت علی شاہ ھمدانی، علامہ سید مظفر حسین شاہ، نام ور اسکالر ڈاکٹر عامر لیاقت حسین ، مولانا شاہدین اشرفی ، سید رفیق شاہ ، سید حماد حسین ، صوفی محمد حسین لاکھانی ، محمد عاطف بلو ، محمد بلال سلیم قادری ، سید فاروق حیدر ، مفتی عابد مبارک اور دیگر نے خطاب کیا۔خطاب کرتے ھوئے ان علمائے کرام اور خطبائےعظام نے حضرت خطیبِ اعظم کو والہانہ خراج عقیدت پیش کرتے ھوئے کہا کہ اھل سنت کے لئے وہ اللہ تعالٰی کی بہت بڑی نعمت تھے اور ان کی ذات با برکات مسلک حق کی صداقت و حقانیت کی دلیل تھی ان کی تمام تر نسبت رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے تھی اور انھوں نے اس نسبت کا حق ادا کیا۔ ان کا یقین غیر متزلزل تھا، انھوں نے عزیمت و استقامت اور جرأت و بہادری سے حق کا پرچار کیا اور اس راہ میں شدید صعوبتیں خندہ پیشانی سے برداشت کیں ، ان کے اساتذہ و مشائخ اور مقتدر و معتبر ھستیوں کو ان پر فخر تھا اور وہ خود بلا شبہ اھل سنت کا اعتبار و افتخار تھے اور آج بھی ان کے لیے سمتوں میں عزت و محبت اور عقیدت و احترام ھے ۔ انھوں نے مثالی کار ھاے نمایاں انجام دیے ان کی ذات کثیر الصفات اور ان کی خدمات کثیر الجہات تھیں ۔ملک و ملت کے وہ سچے اور مخلص رہبر و رہنما تھے۔ ان کی محنتوں اور محبتوں کا محور صرف عشقِ رسول تھا اور ان کی وجد آفرین مسحور کن مثالی خطابت میں اسی کی اثر پذیری تھی ان کی شاہ کار تصنیف " ذکرِ جمیل " آج بھی عشق رسول میں مستغرق کر دیتی ھے۔ وسائل کی کم یا بی کے باوجود انھوں نے مختصر مدت میں صدیوں کے کام کیے اور کروڑوں کو تاج دار مدینہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے وابستہ کردیا۔ متعدد افراد ان کی بدولت علماء بنے۔ تحریک پاکستان سے دم آخر تک قوم و ملک کے لیے بھی ان کی خدمات ناقابل فراموش ھیں۔ مقررین نے علامہ کوکب نورانی اوکاڑوی کو زبردست خراج تحسین پیش کرتے ھوئے کہا کہ وہ اپنے باکمال والد گرامی کی جانشینی کا حق ادا کر رھے ھیں اور حق و صداقت کے اظہار میں بے باک مجاھد ھیں اور سمتوں میں اپنی اَن تھک مسلسل جد و جھد سے مسلک حق اھل سنت کا افتخار ھیں۔ اجتماع میں بے حیائی اور عریانی کے بڑھتے ھوئے رجحان ، غیر مسلموں کی اسلام اور مسلمان مخالف سازشوں کے خلاف قرار دادیں بھی منظور کی گئیں۔ اھل سنت کے حقوق کے تحفظ اور افواج پاکستان کی امن کے قیام کے لئے مکمل تائید کی قرار داد بھی منظور کی گئی۔ آخری خطاب علامہ کوکب نورانی اوکاڑوی نے کیا اور دنیا بھر میں سالانہ عالمی یوم خطیب اعظم منانے والے تمام اداروں اور افراد کا شکریہ بھی ادا کیا۔ان شاء اللہ تعالی حضرت خطیب اعظم کا33 واں سالانہ عرس مبارک 28-29 اپریل 2016 کو منایا جائے گا۔
