The READING OF SALUTATION & OBJECTION -ANSWERED BY GREAT AASHIQ E RASOOLOF HIS TIME
THE READING OF SALUTATION & OBJECTIONS OF MEELAAD SHAREEF ANSWERED BY
GREAT AASHIQ E RASOOL OF HIS TIME.
First Doubt
Some people say the respected Companions did not read salutation this manner therefore it is an innovation.
In reply, I would like to say that if this is the case that all those practices not done by the respected Companions are innovations then what about the form of the books of holy Qur’aan today, for example on colorfully decorated pages, printed by various methods with diacritical signs, translations, footnotes, interpretations etc. Also today’s form of the books of Ahadees including their explanations, the books of jurisprudence (Fiqh), fundamentals of jurisprudence, course books etc. As well as the form of today’s religious schools, their method of teaching, class time tables, examinations, distribution of certificates, monthly and annual collection of donations, teachers’ salaries etc. And the manner in which gatherings for preaching are held today along with the form of today’s masaajid, salaries of the imaam, the mu’azzam and the committees and furthermore the journey of today’s Hajj pilgrimage. Similarly there are so many other practices. Did the Companions (Allaah have mercy on them) do all of this? Was all of this present at their time? No, absolutely not. So then those who deny peace and salutation should also call all the forms of these things innovations. And they should give speeches against them, print posters and try to eliminate them in every possible way. Why are they obsessed with only one thing that is Meelaad Shareef and standing for salutation?
Keep in mind, that if this manner (of Meelaad Shareef and standing for salutation) was established by the respected Companions then it would have been either mandatory or Sunnat (Prophetic tradition). And we don’t call it mandatory or sunnat. According to us reading salutation in this manner is mustahab (desirable). And a mustahab act is one that is considered good by the true Muslims like this saying of the holy Prophet
(Sallal Laahu ‘Alaiehi Wa Sallam):
“Whatever is good [righteous] according to the Muslims [true believers] is also good before Allaah.” - (Ahmad: 3600. Al Mustadrik: 4465.) Excerpt -Blessings of Meelaad Shareef by Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Shafee Okarvi [Rahmatul Laah Alaieh]

- Stay away from jealousy if you want tranquility in your heart.
- The termination of self consciousness occurs with that ibaadaat in which both the head and heart bow down.
- Only that heart can become the treasury of wisdom and intellect in which there is no love for this World.
- That which people regard as trouble is but only a gift from the beloved Allaah Kareem, regard it as a demand made by love.
- Never forget Death under any circumstances.
- Avoid all quarreling and arguing s.

HOW SHOULD A MUSLIM OBSERVE EID-UL-FITR
Eid-ul-Fitr refers to the festival after completion of fasting in the Month of Ramadaan. This auspicious occasion is celebrated on the 1st of Shawwaal ul Mukarram which is the 10th month of the Islaamic calendar. The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr is a manner of showing appreciation and gratitude to Almighty Allaah for all that He has bestowed upon us.
On the morning of Eid-ul-Fitr, Muslims throughout the world perform the traditional Eid Salaah, which is Waajib upon all Muslims. It is not permissible to miss the Eid prayer without any valid reason. With the exception of performing the Eid Prayer, there are also various actions which are desirable on the day of Eid
These are:
to trim the hair and nails
to perform the Ghusl (Ceremonial Bath),
to use the Miswaak (special toothbrush),
to wear (if affordable) or good clean clothing, and to use Ittar (Perfume),
to perform the Fajr Salaah (morning prayer) in the nearest Mosque of your area,
to leave early to perform the Eid Salaah,
to give the Sadaqa-e-Fitr (Eid-ul-Fitr Charity) before the Eid Salaah,
to go by foot (if possible) for the Eid Salaah, and return home in another route,
to eat a few dates (preferably an odd number) or something sweet before going for Eid Salaah, and
to show happiness and gratification, to give charity in abundance, to walk modestly towards the Eid gathering, and to wish and congratulate one another after the Eid Prayer.
As much as Eid is a time of rejoicing, it is also a time of giving and sharing with those less fortunate than yourself. The Holy Prophet Muhammad [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam] would always be the first to congratulate the poor and the orphans. We should also try to be as kind as possible on this day to our fellow Muslims. The Holy Prophet [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam] has stated, "Smiling in the face of your brother is Charity."

As Salaamu Alaiekum Wa Rahmatul Laahi Wa Barakaatuhu,
On 1st Rabi ul Aakhir 1426, 10th May 2005, my beloved mother departed from this world. This loss is a very tragic incident for us, which we can feel immensely every moment of our lives.
We hope and pray that by the Grace of Allaah Kareem she is happy with us.
My request to you, at your place (masjid, madrassah, institute) individually or in a gathering, please recite Faatihah for her and forward rewards to her blessed soul.
I will be very thankful.
May Allaah Kareem raise her ranks in Jannat ul Firdaus,
May Allaah Kareem bestow HIS mercy on her and
May Allaah Kareem be pleased with her. Aameen!
Jazaakumul laah.
(May Allaah Kareem reward you for this)
