Okarvi Academy Al-A'lami of South Africa is indeed privileged to present to the
Muslims of Southern Africa the most significant work ever to be marketed in
this country. This book is intended to open the eyes, ears and minds of all our
Muslim brothers and sisters whom Allaah Ta'aalaa has bestowed with a sense of
justice, impartiality and the ability to discern truth from falsehood.
I do not intend to delve into a deep
and lengthy introduction to the subject matter you are about to encounter
within the covers of this book, but will attempt to very briefly give the
readers a condensed and sweeping background of the events that led to the
publication of this block-buster work by our Academy, for the protection and
preservation of the faith of the Muslims from the erstwhile enemies of Islaam.
It must be recalled that a few years
ago a group of ignoramus and misguided Mullas stationed at Lenasia in the
Transvaal, concealing their identities under a fancy but fabricated organization of "The Council for the Propagation of the Sunnats of
Islaam" published puny little booklets in three parts under a meaningless
and ridiculous title of "From Johannesburg to Bareilly" for the
explicit purpose of undermining the faith of the Muslims, and, for
character-assassinating one of the greatest scholars and saints of Islam the
world has ever produced in the last 200 years. The target of [heir vile abuse
and perpetual attack was directed at none other than the world-acclaimed
scholar and leader of the majority of the Muslims and the internationally
acknowledged Mujaddid of Islaam A'laa Hazrat Maulana Imaam Ahmad Raza Khan

What is Meant by Imaamat? Islam the Glorious Religion-
Q 1. What is meant by "Imaamat"?
A. "Imaamat" means chieftainship,leadership and leader is called "Imaam". Imaamat of "Salaat"(prayer) means attachment of prayer of a "Muqtaadi"(follower) to the prayer of "Imaam" with some conditions. An Hadees in this context says that Imaam is responsible for the prayer of his "Muqtaadi's". It means that Imaam is wholly responsible for the prayer offered well or deficient by his Muqtaadi's under his leadership. It is naivety and lack of "Shar'i" knowledge to ask every bearded man to lead prayer. The "Shari'ah" envisages some conditions for Imaamat which every Imaam must possess.
Q 2. What are the conditions for Imaamat?
A. There are six conditions for Imaam provided he is not disabled: (1). He ought to be Muslim, (2) mature or of full 15 years if there is no apparent sign of maturity, (3) sane, (4) male, (5) he must know "Qiraa-at" to such an extent that the prayer led by him is in order and (6) free from disability i.e. he should not suffer from such a disease that renders him unable to lead the prayer.

It is our duty to recall and recognize
that Islaam is
the religion chosen for us by Al-Laah Sub haana
Ta’aa laa.
If we practice this religion wholeheartedly and remain subservient to
this religion than we will be prosperous in this world and hereafter. We must remember Faith is
the basis of religious and worldly affluence and the deliverance of the world
after. It is essential to have right and
true believes to achieve honor and benefit in our actions otherwise rewards
will not be awarded. A true Peer (Spiritual
Guide) is someone who has true believes according to Shari’at and Sunnat. And a true Mureed (Disciple) is someone who has correct
believes and is completely obedient and submissive to his Peer.
