HOW SHOULD A MUSLIM OBSERVE EID-UL-FITR
Eid-ul-Fitr refers to the festival after completion of fasting in the Month of Ramadaan. This auspicious occasion is celebrated on the 1st of Shawwaal ul Mukarram which is the 10th month of the Islaamic calendar. The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr is a manner of showing appreciation and gratitude to Almighty Allaah for all that He has bestowed upon us.
On the morning of Eid-ul-Fitr, Muslims throughout the world perform the traditional Eid Salaah, which is Waajib upon all Muslims. It is not permissible to miss the Eid prayer without any valid reason. With the exception of performing the Eid Prayer, there are also various actions which are desirable on the day of Eid
These are:
to trim the hair and nails
to perform the Ghusl (Ceremonial Bath),
to use the Miswaak (special toothbrush),
to wear (if affordable) or good clean clothing, and to use Ittar (Perfume),
to perform the Fajr Salaah (morning prayer) in the nearest Mosque of your area,
to leave early to perform the Eid Salaah,
to give the Sadaqa-e-Fitr (Eid-ul-Fitr Charity) before the Eid Salaah,
to go by foot (if possible) for the Eid Salaah, and return home in another route,
to eat a few dates (preferably an odd number) or something sweet before going for Eid Salaah, and
to show happiness and gratification, to give charity in abundance, to walk modestly towards the Eid gathering, and to wish and congratulate one another after the Eid Prayer.
As much as Eid is a time of rejoicing, it is also a time of giving and sharing with those less fortunate than yourself. The Holy Prophet Muhammad [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam] would always be the first to congratulate the poor and the orphans. We should also try to be as kind as possible on this day to our fellow Muslims. The Holy Prophet [Sallal Laahu Alaieh Wa Sallam] has stated, "Smiling in the face of your brother is Charity."
Concept of Happiness in Eid
The concept of Eid is attached with happiness and happiness comes from success. Success is not what we declare as success. Success is in fact that which
Allaah Ta’aalaa states is success.
The count of days of the month of Ramadaan, are completing.
Laielatul Jaa’izah (first new moon of the night of Shawwaal) is coming.

The Correct Faith - Why the Differences by Hazrat Allaamah Kaukab Noorani Okarvi
Saheeh Aqeedah (correct faith) is the key for our Salvation on the Day of Judgment, therefore it is of primary concern for all Muslims throughout the world.
Everyone says that he is on the right path, but we have to find out how truthful this claim is in the light of Quraan and Ahadees.
Read the following beliefs written in the most authentic books of different Sects of Muslims. Decides yourself if these beliefs will help them in their salvation on the Day of Judgment. .... the readers can find out the factual position of these beliefs in the light of Qur'aan and Ahadees.
We have also provided scan copies of the referred books and pages for ready reference of our readers. These books are taught to the followers of these sects all over the world. These books are available in the markets in many countries around the globe.
Come, let us distinguish between friends and enemies, recognize between our own and the stranger, strengthen our ties with the true slaves of the Divine mercy, the beloved Prophet (Sallal Laahu ‘Alaiehi WaSallam) and become one another defender and friend in the name of the same Prophet and with unity among us become like a lead-filled solid wall. You must believe Allaah Kareem's mercy and help will be with us at every moment. And greatness, honor, success and prosperity will be our destiny.
For it has been proclaimed,
“Kee Muhammad Se Wafaa Tuune Tuo Ham Teray Hayn
Yeh Jahaan Cheez Hai Keyaa Lauh-o-Qalam Teray Hayn”

Hazrat Shaiekh Abdul Qaadir Jeelaani
[Ramatul Laah Alaieh] Quote-
Perseverance:
If you persevere in adversity and depend on Allaah Almighty, then know that He will remove your afflictions and bestow vast blessings upon you. For in His Book He promises,
Those who depend upon Allaah, Allaah Kareem bestows His bounty upon them and provides for them from means unknown. Therefore follow the road of patience and rejoice in His infinite bounty.
